As mandated in Law 32/2009 on Environmental Protection followed with Government Regulation 46/2016 on Procedures for SEA Implementation, it was stipulated that all development planning in national or local level should be integrated to Sustainable Development principles.
Thus, Local Government of Kab. Dharmasraya in cooperation with WWF Indonesia agreed to implement Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) for Reviewed Spatial Planning in Kab. Dharmasraya in order to achieve a sustainable development planning. The development of SEA started at August 2017, it is expected to be completed at December 2017. DIM was assigned by WWF Indonesia to provide assistance for the development process of SEA for Spatial Planning in Kab. Dharmasraya. This activities was initially started with Kick-off Meeting which held in 7 August 2017 and Training for SEA Taskforce which held in 7-11 August 2017.
